Provides a standardised source of Monacolin K, a natural substance which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 10mg of Monacolin K from fermented Red Yeast Rice preparations. Commercial Red Yeast Rice products have variable levels (if any at all) of Monacolin K.
Each Sona Capsule is standardised to contain 5mg of Monacolin K per capsule. Just two capsules daily of Sona Red Yeast Rice provide the level of Monacolin K recommended to help you maintain normal cholesterol levels. EFSA Recommend a minimum 10mg Monacolin K per daily dose to maintain a healthy normal blood cholesterol levels.
